Graduating Owa Retamar will be on a high as he leads the NU Bulldogs to their ninth straight Finals in the UAAP.
The National University Bulldogs are back in the UAAP Finals for a ninth consecutive season, thanks to a thrilling four-set victory over the De La Salle University Green Spikers, 25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, on Wednesday, May 8.
While Buds Buddin led the scoring charge with a game-high 22 points, it was setter Owa Retamar's brilliance behind the scenes that proved crucial for NU. Retamar orchestrated the Bulldogs' offense with 21 excellent sets, while scoring five ponts from blocks.
The Bulldogs now await the winner of the FEU-UST clash in the Finals.
