Ra Guna (Ricardo Ratliffe) is a champion again.

The former Star Hotshots import and longtime Korea national team star led his Busan KCC Egis to the 2024 KBL Championship Sunday, taking Game 5 of the best-of-7 series against the Suwon KT Sonicboom, 88-70.

Ra fired 20 points and nine rebounds in the decisive win, as Busan capped a strong playoff run with a 4-1 Finals win. KCC Egis are the first no. 5 seed to win the KBL title.

Finals MVP Heo Ung paced KCC Egis with 21 points. Busan won its sixth KBL title, and first since the 2010-11 season.

Ra, who took over as the KBL’s all-time leader for playoff points, also won his 5th title, and first outside his former team in Ulsan.

He averaged 20.2 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.4 blocks in the Finals.

By virtue of winning the KBL title, Busan has also been assigned to Group B of the 2024-25 East Asia Super League tournament.

The Sonicboom will play in Group A.
